Today’s Topic
We love our kids, right? So much so that we want to keep EVERYTHING they do, use, wear and express in a box so that we can go back later into that memory box and relive everything all over again!…. Oh, that’s just me?
All jokes aside, they are ours, and they do pretty cool and wonderful things! It’s SO normal for us to want to hold on, keep and remember their art and schoolwork as the years go by – and they DO WHIZ by like an express train to adulthood!
Take it from me, parting with special memories can be hard, especially when our kids are growing up way too fast. However, it’s a good skill to have and develop throughout life. Checking little tasks off of our to-do lists helps to move forward, instead of constantly worrying about all the things we need to get done.
