Want to go from 'drowning' to peace of mind?

Hey, wonderful friends and fellow explorers of life’s unpredictable path! Today, let’s chat soul to soul, reflecting on those moments when life pulls the rug out from under us, and how we find our footing again. Spoiler: It’s rarely smooth, but that’s the adventure, right?

The Unplanned Adventures

So, why the radio silence in podcast-land? Simply put, life, in all its chaotic glory, got in the way. This summer, my family and I embarked on an adventure that took us across the ocean to the Philippines, Bali, and Singapore.

find out how families with 3+ kids tackle the beast: laundry!

While the journey was breathtakingly enriching, the prep alone—amid end-of-school-year frenzy—was enough to test any parent’s patience, creativity, and bandwidth! Fast forward to coming back home, and we plunged into the new school year with barely a moment to catch our breath.

From Chaos to Classroom

Transitioning from vacation mode into school mode? Oh boy, what a ride! Having kids in both elementary and high school makes for a juggling act of staggering proportions.

My Secret Sauce for setting the kids up for success

Homework spills onto the kitchen table, food containers take over the dishwasher space as water bottles disappear mysteriously, and parent-teacher interactions become the new social life.  Let’s not forget the emails!  And all that coincided with organizing a Halloween birthday bash for myself (not) as I stepped into my grand 50th year, feeling none of it thanks to those magic Asian genes everyone keeps talking about.

A New Chapter: Organized-ish Parent

In the midst of this whirlwind, a light bulb moment struck.

3 things to establish now before losing your s#!t later on (during the school year)

I realized my podcast needed a fresh breath of life. Enter: *Organized-ish Parent*. It’s not about achieving utopian perfection but embracing the messy, lovely chaos that comes with parenting. I learned that organized doesn’t mean perfect—it means finding harmony in the madness, a lesson life continues to patiently teach me.

Passion Turned Purpose

At school, my role as a lunch supervisor gave me a front-row seat to the kids’ world. Here, I stride through the classroom chaos, orchestrating pizza days and listening to the chatter that defines their universe.

Free training: "How to find time in a busy schedule"

It’s in these moments, watching young minds evolve, that I discovered my raison d’être —guiding these little people, one lunch period at a time.

Embracing Change and Sharing Wisdom

Alongside this podcast refresh, I’ve been crafting a framework that mirrors how our family navigates life. Organizing our home didn’t just happen; it took years of trial, tons of patience, and a shift in mindset. Now, with a coaching program in tow, I aim to share these nuggets of wisdom—helping you carve out those precious slices of time for yourselves.

Keeping the Conversation Alive

Life is hectic, unpredictable, and definitely not neat and tidy 24/7. But amidst the chaos, connecting with you all keeps me grounded and inspired. So continue reaching out, sharing your stories, and asking those amazing questions. We’re all in this together, figuring things out as we go along.

Here’s to the ups, downs, and all the surprises in between. Let’s laugh, learn, and celebrate this perfectly imperfect life together.
