#26: Hanging File Folders to Organize Kids’ Papers, (the ‘Get’er Done’ version)

Filing kids’ art & school work is a BIG project on its own. I chose to store them in hanging file folders because of its convenience, easy system to implement – anyone can understand it! And it leaves room for growth.

Kids doing artwork, painting

In this episode, I show you how to organize your hanging file folders to store your kids’ paper documents and artwork that you want to keep. If you have more than 1 kid, this is perfect! My 3 kids’ school stuff that I want to keep, ALL fits in this hanging file folder system.

BE WARNED: This video shows you a no-frills organizing solution that gets it DONE, the pretty stuff can be for later.

Don’t wait until the end of the year and see how to set your box of hanging folders now –

“Why are you telling me this now? The school year JUST started…”

Oh trust me – The sooner your hanging file folders are set up, the better. All their school & art work will start rolling in and the last thing you’ll want is another item added to your to-do list. Another (eyesore) prompt is the daily visual reminders of a stack of paints, chefs d’oeuvre and cute poems all piled on your counter for you need to sort through! – No thanks! You don’t need that!

  1. I m going to do this – going Friday to get folders and stuff can t wait just finished organizing hubby and my closet. Next the kid and pantry. Toys done and under bathroom sink done. Thanks for all your great ideas. I see a summer project on the horizon! With 4 kiddos, I have soooo many papers and have been looking for just the right solution – thank you! I also have their teachers write a special note in a book – and they have no idea, which makes it even better!
